1. WINSTAR WORLD CASINO: 777 Casino Ave Interstate 35 Thackerville, OK 73459-9774 1,3 miles from KING RV PARK. The World’s Biggest Casino. It’s where the globe’s largest collection of electronic and table games meets an unprecedented lineup of dining, world-class live entertainment, three luxurious hotel towers, two championship golf courses and a whole lot more.

2. WinStar Golf Course & Academy: 10813 Pro Shop Rd

3. Lake Murray State Park: 3323 Lodge Rd Ardmore, OK 73401 22 miles from KING RV PARK.

Lake Murray is a beautiful lake in south central Oklahoma near the city of Ardmore, Ok. This hidden gem is known for being part of the largest state park in Oklahoma and for its crystal clear spring fed waters. Lake Murray State Park completely encompasses the entire lake and boasts many things to do. One of the coolest things about the lake is that the Scenic Highway 77S runs all the way around the lake.

4. Lake Texoma State Park: 11500 Park Office Rd
Kingston, OK 73439 54 miles from KING RV PARK.

Lake Texoma is Oklahoma’s second-largest lake and one of the premier striped bass hot spots in the southwest. Besides fishing and a myriad of watersports, Lake Texoma State Park offers swimming, picnic areas, wildlife viewing opportunities and hiking.

5. TURNER FALLS PARK: I-35 & HWY 77 DAVIS, OK 73030 48 miles from KING RV PARK.

Turner Falls is touted as Oklahoma’s largest waterfall, and sometimes falsely as the tallest. At 77 feet tall, Turner Falls is actually the same height as Natural Falls in Colcord, but certainly more robust.

During spring, summer and fall, Turner Falls is gorgeous. The falls are sizable, and the crystal-clear water is unlike anything else found in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma’s tallest waterfall, an abandoned castle, refreshing swimming holes, scenic hiking trails, and hidden caves, the oldest park in the state is full of adventures.

6. Frank Buck Zoo: 1000 W California St, Gainesville, TX 76240 13 miles from KING RV PARK.

A small, cute attraction, Frank Buck Zoo in Gainesville, Tx is a family-friendly place for you and your family to visit and learn about animals. Some of the animals you’ll be able to see include tortoises, otters, camels, coyotes, flamingos and giraffes.

Beautiful spaces, nice trees, little laundry facility, very handy, wonderful neighbors, clean safe park. Very quiet here. More of an adult park as there isn't anything for little ones to do. Really like the park it's perfect for our 32foot travel trailer. Awesome manager, overall a gem we called home for a couple of months.

Quiet, peaceful RV park surrounded by tall trees & with a variety of birds singing. Full hookups. Sites are gravel which are large enough to accommodate our 38 ft Class A motorhome plus our tow vehicle. We stayed for a week while visiting our daughter & really enjoyed our stay. Triangle RV Park is conveniently located with stores & restaurants close by. The park is dog/pet friendly. We really appreciated the dog stations which were always stocked with waste bags. The park is very clean as is the laundry room. We were comfortable & felt safe. We will definitely be back next time that we are in Durham.

Great RV Park. We stayed for medical services at Duke. Very clean and quiet. Reasonable rates. Caretakers keep laudry area clean and decorated for all holidays. Which I loved and appreciated. Very close to hospital and there is shopping any way you go. Great parks with walking trails. Will definitely stay there with any long stays.

We needed a place where we could be close to Duke Children’s Hospital. Twelve-year-old grandson having heart surgery. What we found was an oasis of kindness and understanding during one of the most stressful times in our lives. Everything turned out great at Duke, and we found a place just near the city that easily accommodated our Class A rig with car. Best advice, fill out the registration online and tell them when and why. They were most helpful and understanding. Very quiet and respectful. A very rare find in a convenient location for medical, groceries, restaurants and I-40. We are thankful.
